Round Cross Stitch Box STL File

3D print your own stitchable embroidery box at home.

Stitch directly into the perforated lid, then slide the clip-in cover inside to hide your thread ends. The result is a small trinket, jewellery, or keepsake box you stitched and made yourself.

This is the original GoodStrings design - the same box we make and sell as a finished physical product in our home studio, now available as a file you can print at home.

This is a digital download. No physical item is shipped.

  • Stitching area diameter: 3.1 in / 7.8 cm
  • Stitch count: 37 × 37
  • Grid spacing: Similar to Aida 11 - approximately 11 stitches per inch / 4.3 stitches per cm
  • Supports: Not required
  • Approximate filament use: 70 g for the complete set

Resizing the file resizes the entire grid. It will not add stitches, and the spacing may no longer match Aida 11.

Tested Print Setup

  • Printers: Bambu Lab P1S and Bambu Lab H2D
  • Slicer: Bambu Studio - settings are pre-loaded in the .3mf file
  • Material: PLA only
  • Filaments tested: Bambu PLA Matte and SUNLU PLA Meta

Other PLA brands may work but have not been tested by us.

Personal Use License

You may print this box for yourself or as a personal gift for family or friends.

You may not sell printed boxes, include them in kits or classes, upload or share the files on MakerWorld, Thingiverse, Printables, or any other platform.

Personal-use files include a small GoodStrings text mark on the bottom of the box. This mark may not be removed, covered, or altered.
